Shepherds Hut

The bespoke Bye Mills Shepherd's Hut has luxury and your comfort in mind. Sitting in the corner of the 18th century walled vegetable garden the private terrace is a veritable sun trap with views across the fields and gardens to the river and along the valley to Stanton Drew.

This charming, cosy hut encourages you to take break from everyday life and enjoy being in the moment. There's no TV but there is WiFi to connect to your music streaming service to the blue tooth speaker whilst you take in the unique location, observe our mass of wildlife and enjoy being with each other without the distractions of everyday life.

At night the garden is lit with fairy lights and makes a magical setting to sit with a fire and listen to the owls, It seems to be a romantic place because several couples have got engaged here!

 

Accommodation Features;

• The hut has a comfortable king size bed with all seasons duvet, extra blankets and sheepskins for your warmth and comfort.

• There are two armchairs and a table.

• Log Burner - you may order logs for this from us

• Kitchen equipped with small fridge with ice box (no freezer),

• Butler sink, small two ring electric stove (small oven with grill).

• Ensuite bathroom with shower, towels and bathrobes.

• Hot tub with flip flops.

• Storage places for clothes including a cupboard for your clothes

• EV charging available for one night at a fixed fee

Bye Mills Farm is no longer a working farm but home to my family of 4. The hut is at the far side of our large rural garden. We will give you space and privacy and will rarely see each other, only our friendly dog, various chickens and a crazy bantam cockerel don't seem to understand the rules and may pay you a visit.
